Tell me Tuesday #37

TELL ME TUESDAY is here!!...and guess what?? I am out of town!
I am spending TWO days visiting my family and crafting with my mama and sisters!! 
I would LOVE to do features real fast but I feel like I wouldn't be able to do them as well as I
would like in the short time I am writing this(LATE Monday night) but there are SOOOO
many good link ups that I will do a double feature next week....as for now I am going to go to sleep
then play with my family some more and soak in every minute I can!!!

MMM#18 a new kind of motivation

So as you all know I am expecting a new little bundle of joy.
So I thought I would turn my own personal MMM posts into a fit and active pregnancy motivation. 

Sorry if this will bore you, but its what im going through and I can only blog about what I know!! 


SO HERE IT GOES...

SHOULD PREGNANT WOMEN EXERCISES? 

Pregnancy is not an illness, we are not to delicate or frail to climb a flight of stairs or to carry a bag of groceries!! Although sometimes the excuse is nice. BUT For a healthy (non high-risk) pregnant woman... moderate physical activity is considered safe and beneficial for not only mothers...but their babies as well...So if your doctor gives you the go ahead and you are perfectly capable of exercise when pregnant DO IT!!! 

There are so many health benefits to exercising while pregnant. 

You are already going to get fatter and fatter as the months go on...THERE IS NO STOPPING IT...Fat obviously will weigh you down and result in less energy. BUT by exercising you are increasing your daily energy! I totally believe that exercise will help you feel better both physically and mentally. IMPROVE YOUR SLEEPING...Increase endurance (and when labor comes around that will be very nice to have) REDUCE BACKACHES...Help with BLOATING...and many many more...

In later MMM's I will go into more depth about what exercises doctors say are best when pregnant and why...but for now here is a small list

STRETCHING
AEROBICS 
CALISTHENICS 
MODERATE WEIGHT TRAINING
WATER WORKOUTS
YOGA
RELAXATION TECHNIQUES
PELVIC TONING 

It is important to start off slow. Warm ups are always the place to start. You don't want to increase your heart rate to much to fast. Even though you are capable you are still more vulnerable when pregnant so walk before you run and jog slowly in a pool before doing laps. 

I hope this post motivates you to be fit and active while pregnant!

baby chicks

My mother in-law teaches 2nd grade and her classroom had baby chickens getting ready to hatch. As soon as they did we headed right over there for Ty to see.
His eyes light up and he totally loved them..

..but I think he loves his grandma more!

some little news...




Yupp, I'm pregnant! Literally can NOT stop smiling...

I knew I was pregnant before the test confirmed it. I had all the symptoms... Getting up two or three times a night to pee, tired and even more sensitive than usual. 

The first few weeks I was a little sick..I think my body was freaking out to the prenatal vitamin. Nothing I can complain to much about..No head in the toilet. 

No serious cravings yet...Nothing I would make Jayson run to the store and get that moment..but juice always sounds good and healthy veggies taste so so good!! 

We went to the doctor for the first time 2-16-12 and were able to hear the little heart beat..170bpm. We had our first ultrasound and the baby looked so amazing! I could actually see it moving around!! Jayson and Ty both came with me and shared my excitement. hehe Maybe Ty was just excited for his sucker the nurse gave him...but Jayson and I both were all smiles the whole time!! We both already love being parents and im pretty convinced no child could be cuter than Ty, but I think our new baby will be as cute as my little Tyster...and I can't wait to have two batches of sunshine in my life.  
 it's crazy how much you can love someone you haven't met yet...

 Hope you had a wonderful Valentines day!!:) 

This was Ty's Valentine to family. It was fun to make. For me....NOT Ty. I thought he would love the paint on his hand...Not even close. It totally freaked him out. After I put the paint on he looked at his hand then at me as if to say "MOM WHY WOULD YOU DO THAT" and then starts bawling. So I only had a few minutes to get some good hand prints...but we made it work... This  is where I got the idea....Her baby seemed to love it... haha

MMM#17

Well...I had to get rid of my gym pass. For a lot of reasons...
To much money...To sick all the time...No time.
I started using it as an excuse to not work out anymore..

"I don't have a gym pass anymore so its to hard"

but I am a huge BIGGEST LOSER fan. and this season is the season of 
NO EXCUSES. 

Sooooo I have kicked my butt back into gear and spiced up my at home routine.
With yoga, 6minute abs, and the 5 mile walking videos. 
Then I use my free weights and bands to do my own thing.
I cant wait to get back outside and start walking again....
The weather is ALMOST nice enough. I just am NOT a cold person...I HATE the snow.
and im terrified of Ty getting sick. So until the sun is shinning I will work out inside. 

So back to the BIGGEST LOSER...
are you a fan???



Last season I totally thought I was a Dolvett fan.. 
  I think because he was the under dog and I tend to want them to do well...
but for some reason this season he is not my favorite....
He still has that beautiful smile though...

and I was an Anna fan...
 SOOO sad to see her go...

but this season its all about  BOB!! 
 I think he does a great job training and being a friend.
and getting AMAZING results...
If I was a on the biggest loser I would totally want Bob to train me... :)
 but I would probably die.

Valentines day baby

Today is not just Valentines day! ....it's my baby sisters birthday!


Happy 20th birthday lil bit. I love you so much!!
 You are more like a big sister most of the time...
always taking care of me and telling me what to do.

i miss him

I miss my baby so much it hurts. 
Ty is down in Logandale for the weekend with my family. 
Tomorrow can't come soon enough!!

I made Heather send me pictures the whole drive home.

 Mom sent me this of Ty playing with the toy food...making a mess.

Missy sent me this one...Ty loves to make a mess...but he also loves to clean!!! 

I know he is in good hands with my family...BUT I STILL MISS MY LITTLE MAN!!

MMM#15..how are you doing?

HEY friends
MMM is here again....

Everyone is welcome to join!!! 
This week has been good. 
A few things I have done well at
1. Drinking lots of water!!! 
I have been lovin my water this week!! I LOVE lemon water.  
My favorite things shares a TON of reasons its good for your health to add lemon.

  1.  Good for stomach
  2. Excellent for Skin Care
  3. Aids in Dental Care
  4. Cures Throat Infections
  5. Good for Weight Loss
  6. Controls High Blood Pressure
  7. Assist in curing Respiratory Disorders
  8. Good for treating Rheumatism
  9. Reduces Fever
  10. Acts as a blood purifier  
 2. Stretching
Totally helps me sleep at night!
Every night after I get Ty to bed I stretch for a good 20 minutes:)
3. Getting plenty of fruits. 
O I could eat my fruit all day long. 
Seriously so sweet and yummy!! Never a problem for me. 


A Few things I have been stinking at
 1. Waking up early.
I get such a late start to my day. I know I would feel 
better if I just got up and got going...but it has been hard.
 2. Sweets...
yikes...when did I get such a sweet tooth??
I REALLY need to do better at passing them up.
 3. Keeping track..
I have a fitness journal... 
I just need to write in it more.
